Gifts Are Blue is a boutique online store that has simplified the shopping for blue gifts for our customers. Everyone knows someone that loves blue, or perhaps you need a blue item for a special occasion such as a bride’s something blue. Well on our site, you know one thing for certain, everything is BLUE. It’s just a matter of what you are needing. All items in our store have some shade of blue. They may be mixed in with other colors, but blue is there. Do you send printed catalogs?
No currently at this time we do not. All available products are provided online and updated regularly.

Our payment gateway uses secure socket layer (SSL) certification.   We use strong security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information. What information do you store on me?
All of this information is provided in detail in our Privacy Policy. In a summarize version if you choose to create an account, our system will store your name, address, phone number and email address. Credit card information is never stored in our systems. The information that we do store is never sold to any third party. We respect your privacy and appreciate your business.

Information is collected by you the customer if you choose to create an account on our site or as cookies to track visits and your IP address. Information is also collected when you checkout and make a purchase but this information does not remain stored in our systems.

How can I find a specific product?
We aim to make navigating our site simple and flexible. There are multiple ways to locate a specific product. If you know the product that you are searching for, simply use the Search box, located at the top right of the page, or in the footer you will find a search link. You can also find the search box in the left side bar when viewing a collection. Alternately you can use the drop down menus to the top to locate various collections and sub collections. Our home page also showcases several of our popular collections and featured products. If you are unable to find what you are needing, please don’t hesitate to call or email us at customerservice@giftsareblue.com.

How do I navigate the site?
You can navigate the site by clicking the top menus on the site which list all of our main collections. By clicking the top menus, smaller subsets will also be shown in the drop downs. We also provide a View All Collections link in the footer of the site, so you can easily see all the collections available for viewing. Additionally while viewing a product that is part of a collection, you will be able to view prior and subsequent products in the collection, by clicking the appropriate links shown in the product description.
 
Can I personalize a specific product?
Currently we do not provide personalization or engraving on products. This service may be added in the future.
 
Do you offer gift wrapping?
We currently do not offer gift wrapping. Please note that all jewelry is shipped in jewelry boxes.

What is Gifts Are Blue product availability?
We generally stock all our items, so products will usually ship within 1 to 2 business days. Items ordered by 2pm CST Monday through Friday will ship the same day.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Visa and Mastercard.

Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes. We also accept PayPal.

Will I be charged tax on my order?
You only have to pay sales tax if you are located in Texas, the same state as our warehouse.

What currencies are prices in?
By default currency is shown in USD (United States Dollar), our store allows for multiple currencies and you can change the currency to show CAD, EUR and GDP. This option is located to the top of the page on the right.

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged immediately after placing the order.

Do you offer a lay-away plan and how does it work?
We now have available a layaway plan for those that want to order a gift for someone but don't want to receive it right away, and for our customers that want a convenient installment plan to break up payments. To utilize our layaway plan, simply select the items you want to order as normal and go to your shopping cart. Click on Checkout where you will be presented to enter your information and then taken to the payment page, on the payment page, select the option "Put it on LAY-BUY powered by PayPal" button and then select your billing address and complete order. You will be redirected to a secure site that will allow you to enter the terms for your layaway. You are required to make a deposit of 25% or more, and select between 1 to 3 months installment plan. Consequently, you will be billed at the same date and time each month, in equal amounts. All information will be clearly displayed for your review. Please note that there is a nominal 0.9% fee on all installment plans. Follow the steps on the screen to complete your layaway installment plan. Your items will be delivered after your last installment payment. You can also choose to pay off your installment plan earlier or in full by contacting our customer service department at any time via email or phone. You may also cancel your installment at any time for a full refund less admin fees.

How do I place an order?
When you have found the product that you would like to buy, simply click the Add to Cart option. You will see that an item will be added to cart and have the option to view your shopping cart or continue shopping. You can add multiple items to your cart. When you are finish shopping, click on the shopping cart icon located in the top right corner to view your cart and receive step by step instructions to complete your checkout. Start by clicking the blue checkout button or checkout with PayPal button.

Do you sell Gift Cards?
Yes, we do sell Gift Cards that can be used to purchase products in our online store.

How do I redeem a promotion code?
During the checkout process you will be given the option to apply any promotional or coupon codes that you have.

Can I place an order over the phone?
Currently you cannot place an order over the phone. Our site is easily accessible from any browser and on any desktop, Mac, phone or tablet. Please let us know if you experience any trouble placing an order.

Will I receive an email confirmation on my order?
Yes. You will always receive an email confirmation on your order, as well as an email when your order has shipped. Any updates to your order will be sent via email as well.

What's included in my package?
When we ship your order, the package will also include a package slip that details what's included in the package.  Our package slip does not contain price information which is perfect if you are sending this package as a gift.  However, a complete receipt is emailed to you which will contain price and all other relevant information.  If there are specific details that you would like to share with us for your order, please do include a note on the shopping cart and checkout page.

Can I deliver items in my order to multiple shipping addresses?
No.  At this time you are not able to deliver items in your order to multiple shipping addresses.  Please place separate orders for each shipping address.


Has my order shipped?
When your order is shipped you will receive an email in this regard. The email will also contain a tracking number that you can use to track and monitor your delivery status. If you created an account with us, you will also be able to login and easily track your order status.

How long will it take my order to arrive?

With domestic US Shipping to the 48 contiguous states your package will arrive in 3 to 7 business days. We also offer priority and express shipping. For further details on shipping time for all of the US and international destinations please see our Shipping Policy.

How do I track my order?
When we send the email indicating that your order has been shipped, the email will also include a tracking number and tracking link that you can click to see the shipping and delivery status.

When will my backorder arrive?
Backordered items are items that are out of stock. If an item is backordered we will ship them as soon as they become available. Please contact customer service if you want a better estimate and they will try to assist when possible.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?
We typically ship orders very quickly, so in order to change or cancel an order you will have to contact us within hours. It is best to email AND call our customer service department. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to make the necessary change. It will depend on if your order has already been packaged and fulfilled. We will always do our best to accommodate you.

My order never arrived?
This is a rare occurrence but occasionally the USPS does sometimes misroute shipments or in the case of international shipments they can be held up in customs. In the unlikely event that your order is lost please let us know and we will try to assist with tracking down the shipment. If you are in the US and it has been over 2 weeks since your order shipped, or if you are international and it’s been over 6 weeks please email us at customerservice@giftsareblue.com with the details of your order and we will try to help.

An item is missing from my shipment?
Click your My Account link to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If your order displays your tracking numbers then please check the carrier to confirm that your packages were delivered. If they were delivered then please call or email customer service for assistance. You can also check your email shipping confirmation to see which items were shipped and retrieve your tracking information. There are times when multiple items that were ordered together are shipped at different times, but you will be alerted of this in your My Account page and email.

What if my package has been damaged during shipment?
Every effort has been made to ensure that your package will arrive safely after it leaves us. Please check your shipment thoroughly upon receipt for any damage. Make claims immediately, directly to the carrier. Most carriers will have step by step instructions on what is needed to file a claim. Failure to make a claim within 24 hours of receipt with carrier will result in denial of claim.

What if my package is refused or undelivered?
If a package was refused or returned to us, you will incur the shipping cost of the order amount and/or pay additional shipping cost to have the package reshipped.

Which shipping carrier do you use?
We currently use USPS as our shipping carrier.

What are your shipping rates?
We offer flat rates and free shipping. Flat Rates start at $3.99. Please see our Shipping Policy for current rates.


Do you offer express delivery?
Yes we do offer express delivery in the US and internationally, but please bare in mind that for international shipments we cannot detail what will happen with your package at customs and how long it may be held for.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do ship internationally.

Where will my order be shipped from?
Your order will ship from Texas.

Can I ship to a PO Box?
Yes, you can.

Can merchandise be returned?
Yes. We want you to be 100% happy with your purchases. Please see our Returns Policy that details our 15 day Money Back Guarantee and our Free Return Shipping for US domestic orders in the 48 contiguous states.

Can Gift Cards be returned?
Gift Cards are non refundable and cannot be returned.

When will my credit appear on my account?
It can take up to 14 days for your credit to appear on your account, after we have notified you via email of your credit approval. We must receive the returned product before issuing the approval.

Does Gifts Are Blue have an online affiliate program?
No, not at this time.
